Wishlist Journeys was born from the dreams and determination of a young woman from Pretoria, with a passion for travel and a heart full of faith. Before founding Wishlist Journeys, I spent five years in the travel industry — a path I never expected. With a background in Political Science and International Relations, and no formal travel experience, I started out working in retail. One day, a simple act of kindness changed everything when i helped a man who came to the shop, and he saw my potential and attitude he offered me an opportunity to teach me everything about tthe travel business from the ground up. That moment changed my life. As my passion for travel grew, I gained experience, faced the challenges of the pandemic head-on, and finally took a leap of faith to start something of my own. Wishlist Journeys is based in Cape Town and has quickly become one of South Africa’s top-rated tour operators, offering expertly curated international group, private trips and unforgettable day tours.
